Cavaliers premier point guard Kyrie Irving has all but ended speculation that his foot and knee ailments will keep him sidelined for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals in Atlanta.
"I'm gonna go," he told the Washington Post, adding that he feels "amazing" after gaining some rest.
Irving, who is dealing with a right foot strain and left knee tendinitis, participated in most of the Monday practice. He toughed it out through much of the battles against Boston and Chicago. He was originally deemed probable for the second game of Game 6 against the Bulls, but the team's lopsided lead made his return unnecessary.
