Lakers guard Wayne Ellington is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his shoulder Thursday, the team announced.
Ellington suffered a mild shoulder separation near the end of Wednesday's contest and coach Byron Scott did not sound optimistic Ellington would be available to play in Friday's game, reports the Los Angeles Daily News.
"I don't see him playing [Friday]," Scott said. "I really like Wayne a lot. And I know he's one of those guys who wants to play, so we'll just have to wait and see."
