The Kings will likely shut down center DeMarcus Cousins (foot) and forward Rudy Gay (concussion) for the final three games of the season, according to CowbellKingdom.com.
Cousins has been limited to 59 games, but has posted career high in points (24.1), rebounds (12.7) and assists (3.6) while shooting 46.7 percent from the field.
If Gay's season is over, it will be the first time he's failed to play more than 70 games in a season since 2011-12. Gay posted career highs in points (21.1) and assists (3.7). He averaged 5.9 boards and shot 45.5 percent from the field, including 35.9 percent from downtown in 68 games.
