Suns forwards Markieff Morris and Marcus Morris are being investigated by Phoenix police for an alleged assault, reports The Arizona Republic.
The incident occurred in January when the alleged victim, Erik Hood, told police he was accosted and assaulted at a sports complex in Phoenix by a group of five people, which included the Morris twins.
Hood had known the twins since high school and told police he supported them financially for a period of time.
Markieff Morris has denied being part the group that attacked Hood, but acknowledged he was at the sports complex. There have been no arrests in the investigation and no charges have been filed, but the district attorney is reviewing the case.
Suns president of basketball operations Lon Babby issued a statement acknowledging that the team is aware of the investigation and that they will monitor the situation as it develops.
