If the Knicks do bring back center Andrea Bargnani next season, it will only be at the veteran minimum, reports the New York Post.
Bargnani can become a free agent after the season and coach Derek Fisher said he likes what Bargnani can bring to the team. After scoring 25 points while blocking four shots and grabbing eight rebounds in Sunday's win over the 76ers, Fisher said he was impressed with Bargnani.
"I more so saw the eight rebounds and four blocks than the points — he can score points," Fisher said. "If he's rebounding that way and using his size to block shots, it makes us a better team."
