Heat guard Shabazz Napier underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a sports hernia and he will miss the rest of the regular season, the team announced.
Napier has missed the last three games with what was believed to be a hip injury. In 51 games during his rookie season, Napier averaged 5.1 points and 2.5 assists.
