The Golden State Warriors are the number one seed in the West, have homecourt-advantage throughout the playoffs and recently poured water on Steve Kerr after they got their 63rd win. So with a week left in the season, you can't fault the Warriors for taking things a little easy.
But they may taken things a little too easy against the New Orleans Pelicans tonight. Especially since according to Anthony Davis and a Pelicans' ball boy, the Warriors were calling their matchup against New Orleans a scrimmage.
Fyi, my ball boy contact told me that many Warrior players are calling tonight's game a scrimmage.

An interesting comment by the Warriors as they didn't play like it was a scrimmage, battling back from a fourth quarter deficit to almost tie the game at the buzzer.
The comment definitely fueled New Orleans though. Davis and the Pelicans used it for motivation to beat Golden State 103-100.
