Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters Sunday he is hopeful guard Derrick Rose will be able to return this week, reports Bleacher Reporter.
Rose has not played since undergoing knee surgery in late February. Thibodeau added that Rose has been cleared for contact, but he needs to gain more comfort on the court before returning.
"Everything is going according to plan," Thibodeau said. "Ideally, the sooner, the better, but he's got to be comfortable enough to play."
