Bulls guard Derrick Rose took the latest step in his recovery from knee surgery when he participated in the contact portions of Monday's practice, reports Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
Rose was able to participate in a four-on-four scrimmage Monday and coach Tom Thibodeau said Rose needs to work on his conditioning before returning. Rose has been sidelined since Feb. 23 after undergoing a meniscectomy on his knee.
"The big thing, he was a little winded, but we expect that. Overall it was good. Physically he feels good," Thibodeau said.
