As earlier reports suggested, Rockets guard Patrick Beverley will undergo season-ending surgery Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist, the team has announced.
The third-year NBA player will not return for the postseason.
Beverley suffered the injury during a game on March 23.
Beverley was averaging 10.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 30.8 minutes per game this season.
