Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will not travel with the team Thursday, and he's scheduled for an MRI on his injured shoulder Friday, the team announced.
Irving is considered doubtful to play Friday against the Pacers on the road. However, it's possible he joins the team in Indianapolis after the team learns the results of his test. Irving suffered the injury Thursday but was able to return to the game, playing a team-high 38 minutes and scoring 24 points.
The Cavaliers are 4 1/2-point favorites Friday.
