Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao left Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves after falling from a non-contact play and was unable to put weight on his left leg.
The team announced it was a left foot/ankle injury and Varejao would not return to the game.
Forward Tristan Thompson replaced Varejao in the game. He had six points and six rebounds before exiting.
